Pool Heaters Thermostats

Pool heater problem?

Where would the flow switch be located, (not sure if this is the problem..Our pool heater recently hasn’t worked properly and is constantly turning on then off every 30 sec or so. The thermostat is turned to full and the pool temp is only 78df. I would like to know if there is anything I can do to fix it without calling the repair man. Thanks.(specificly a pool heater person would be helpful

The flow switch would be most likely on the intake pipe side of the heater. Without more info on heating system type, gas or electric it is hard to give advice without writing a lengthy article describing each type. From the info I see, I would start with the T’stat itself primarily the sending unit or sensor. God Bless and good luck
